MochiKirin ("we," "us," or "our") operates mobile applications including FlipPal, ScrubIQ, and BookPilot, as well as the mochikirin.com website. This policy explains how we handle information across our products and services.

Our Core Principle

We believe your data belongs to you. Our products are designed with privacy at the center, not as an afterthought. Where possible, we process data entirely on your device so it never reaches our servers.

ScrubIQ

ScrubIQ is a fully offline PII (personally identifiable information) redaction tool. All document scanning and redaction happens on your device. Your documents, text, and files are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party service. We do not have access to the content you process through ScrubIQ.

FlipPal

FlipPal processes your reselling calculations locally on your device. Product data, profit margins, and inventory details stay on your phone. We do not collect or transmit your business data.

BookPilot

BookPilot processes booking conversations through Facebook Messenger. Booking data (guest names, dates, contact details) is stored securely and used solely for managing reservations at the connected property. We do not sell or share guest information with third parties.

Website Analytics

Our website may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand page visits and general traffic patterns. We do not use invasive tracking cookies or share browsing data with advertisers.

Subscription and Payment Data

Subscriptions for our apps are processed through Apple's App Store and Google Play Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We do not directly collect or store your credit card or payment information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat under their respective privacy policies.

Data We Collect

Across our products, we may collect the following limited information: your email address (only if you contact us directly), anonymous app usage data such as crash reports to improve stability, and subscription status through RevenueCat to manage access to premium features.

Third-Party Services

Our apps may integrate with the following services, each governed by their own privacy policies: Apple App Store, Google Play Store, RevenueCat (subscription management), and Facebook Messenger (BookPilot only).

Children's Privacy

Our products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

Data Retention and Deletion

Since most of our apps process data locally, there is typically nothing stored on our servers to delete. For any data we do hold (such as support emails), you can request deletion at any time by contacting us.
